Positive evaluation
The Paul Ehrlich Institute carries out independent evaluations of rapid antigen tests in the laboratory in Germany. HIGHTOP’s antigen rapid test has passed the evaluation and is listed in the „Vergleichende Evaluierung der Sensitivität von SARS-CoV-2 Antigenschnelltests“ of the Paul-Ehrlich-Institute.
EU-wide approved
The HIGHTOP SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test has a completed conformity procedure and is therefore approved for self-testing throughout the EU. The test may therefore be sold to private individuals.
LoD of 8 TCID50 / mL
With a LoD value of 8, the HIGHTOP test is one of the best tests worldwide. The high sensitivity of the test makes it possible to identify people with a lower viral load as corona positive at an early stage. In simple terms, the LoD value (Limit of Detection) represents the lower detection limit at which a test will turn out positive. The lower the value, the more sensitive and therefore better the antigen test.
